Click on the "Install" button on the right of this post, then download the zip file to your computer and extract it (I put it on my desktop, it's easier to remember where I put it. I do suggest moving the zip after installation to a folder on your computer so you have it as a back-up - just in case ;) ).
Open your ftp client to your server. Go to your forum's images folder, open it, and create a styles folder.
Next, upload the beige folder via FTP to the styles folder that you created, so that your image path is images/styles/beige/buttons, for example.
After you've uploaded the images, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
Click on the Browse button, locate the beige-style.xml file, and double-click it so that it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.



In the zip file you'll find a Blanks folder, containing a header and buttons in PNG format for easy editing. PSD's are NOT available.

I adore the shiny/glossy look so loved this theme as soon as I saw it except i y members and myself do love to have a huge banner at the top for a pic of my featured Celebrity. Is it possible to have top banner exactly the same size as the Khaki theme???

If not, could you please make a a logo with the matching coloured font in the name of:-

'Rachael Coopes' as per this...

Helen where did you download the Shiney Beige style at? I went to your new site and saw a Home link on the navbar that points to here, but there's no Home link in that template in the zip file! I'm thinking that perhaps you got ahold of on old download?
I'm in the middle of moving to a new house and don't have access to any of my design software, so I can't do much for you right now. It may likely be a few days - the weekend perhaps, before I can do anything.

Just wondering, playing around with this style and wondering what or where can the (dont know exactly what its called) space at the bottom of every forum section be adjusted or changed. We would like it to be about half the size it is now if possible. The area I am referring to as shown by arrow in attachment.

Go to the templates for this style, and open the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost
template.

Near the bottom of the template, find
<tr><td class="thead" style="line-height: 0; padding: 0; margin: 0;" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions[showmoderatorcolumn]">6<else />5</if>"><img src="$vboptions[cleargifurl]" alt="" width="1" height="12" /></td></tr>

It is the height="12" number that you want to play with for that area.

Hi Peggy, i got the brand free option as suggested on vb-faq, how do I remove it?
Also, i think cos I run 3.8.1, navbar is not compatible, control panel says:
"The templates shown on this page have been updated in the default template set since you customized them.
It may be necessary for you to revert the custom templates, or otherwise check that they fully support vBulletin 3.8.1.
If you do not do this, some sections of vBulletin may not function!
Please see the release announcements at the vBulletin.com Forums for more information."

I have used the old files after the hack after I learned that importing the XML file does not give me the blog link in Majestic when I did that. However, it does not give the "blog" link and dropdown arrow on "community", "search" and "quick links" links.

Is it safe to revert the tables in the VB Style manager? If not, how can I get these dropdown arrows in the navbar?

OK, so I want a new logo. Got me a nice pic, converted it to a PNG file.
The old logo is 427x164, so the pic was resized to 114x164. Uploaded it and got a HUMUNGOUS picture, almost covering the entire screen!

Right.

So, copied it to the blank logo.png which btw has a height of 100. (Still with me?)

That now, got me less than a midget sized logo.

So, after an evening battling with GIMP and the site, could someone please tell me how I get the new logo in the fitting size? Thanks already!

Sorry if this has been discussed already, I did a search and couldn't find it...

I have this theme (and Planet Earth, Business Green and Business Blue) installed on my forum. After upgrading to 3.8.5, members are getting an error when marking forums read... a security token error. It's happening on all the themes when using "Mark Forums Read" in the Navbar or the one above the footer on the home page. Do you know of any fix for this? I have been searching the vbulletin com/org sites all morning and haven't found a fix yet.

ETA: Nevermind.. found it finally at vbulletin.org. :) Didn't know if I was allowed to show the template changes, so I won't post it just in case? Let me know if I can and I will definitely post the fix or the link to the fix!
