are good contrasting font colors against the background. Font recommendations is what I'm looking for since the background is a toughy.

Be easy. I'm new at this.

hmmmmm....Fungsten there is SO much color in the background, I doubt that any color will work other than black.
Personally I would not make the forums transparent. Too much color and too hard to see.

I was thinking about the transparency too. Like I said this one's a toughy. I might just change the background to an image that has not as much color. Thanks.

The background is great, I like it. But with a solid forum.

What do you mean by a solid forum?

right now you can see through the forums on your site - you can see the whole background, rather than the background surrounding the forums.

That was intentional but I'm changing it. Thanks!
BTW, isn't there a semi-transparent/opaque "color"?
Possibly you can reduce the "vividness" of the background by adding a white layer over it and changing the white layer's transparency level down.
I think this would make the text of your forum easier to read.
I like the concept...

Good idea 2dub
I problem is I don't have anything to do that. Well I have The Gimp but it's not working - open source junk.

Nooooo, I'm learning to love GIMP. I don't have the big bucks for PS. I'm a newbie and am teaching myself how to work it. I've been pretty pleased. Most of the problems I've had are user created ones.

I just installed the update, to 2.6.4<?> and none of the tool bar - file, edit etc., - show up. Are there any good instructions for software?
I just Google "GIMP tutorials" and come up with a bunch of interesting stuff. It will take some patience.
