Peggy 02-21-2009, 11:56 AM Coffeetime is a light, easy-on-the-eyes theme, good for just about any chat site, or ladies club-type of site.
Coffeetime features -
a repositioned navigation bar
optimized for postbit legacy
90% original images
valid xhtml 1.0 transitional (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tbdstyles.com%2Findex.p hp%3Fstyleid%3D28&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0)

Click on the "Install" button on the right of this post, then download the zip file to your computer and extract it (I put it on my desktop, it's easier to remember where I put it!).
Next, open your ftp client to your server. Go to your forum's images folder, open it, and create a styles folder.
Upload the "coffee" folder via FTP to your server, into the styles folder, so that your image path is images/styles/coffee/buttons, for example.
After you've uploaded the folder, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
Click on the Browse button, locate the coffee-style.xml file, and double-click it so it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.
In the zip file, you'll find blank images, in png and jpg format, for easy editing.
No psd's are available.
Enjoy! :rose:

kaderith 03-08-2009, 10:15 PM Hi! I love this theme style .. I'm in the process of trying to get it ready to go on a new forum being set up for a crafting group I'm co-owner of.
I've edited the blank template images you provided (thank you so much for that btw)..
And I just had a few questions:
1. I don't have a Gallery or a Blog installed on this forum, nor do we plan to offer that feature to members so how can I edit the templates to remove the 'Gallery' and 'Blog' links from the nav bar?
2. The nav bar images are loading up with the individual image sizes a little wonky, so that for example, the 'Home' button looks slightly smooshed. I've tried to fix that but its just not working..
3. I can't get the 'Member list' to display on the nav bar, and it is activated to show the member list in the vBulletin options from the Admin CP. Help?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.. I really want to use this style for our forum, I just need a little help with a few tweaks..

Peggy 03-08-2009, 10:36 PM Hi Cyndi, welcome to Themes by Design!
Ok, the navbar on this theme is located in the header template. If you don't have a blog or gallery, simply remove the code for those two images. Each link is created on an image that is the correct size for the text. The home image shouldn't look smooshed. I can't see it because it doesn't show up for guests. I do see that the FAQ image is squished. For some reason your forum is compressing some of the images. ugh
IN the header template for this style, look at the image sizes for each image. The Home images should say width="50" and height="33". If it doesn't, change them. The FAQ dimensions should say width="42" and height="33". If not, change them.
The members list is in the community dropdown menu link. the vBulletin developers took if off of the navbar with the 3.8 version.
kaderith 03-08-2009, 11:03 PM Wow..fast response. :)
I'm going to go see if I can remove those two links and fix the odd image size..
Regarding the community dropdown menu, that's not displaying .. :-/
I haven't touched any of the templates as yet, so not sure why its not showing...
edit: Figured it out...
I don't have the nav_comm.jpg file.. its not in the zip file which I downloaded.
I'll just go open up Photoshop and make one... :)
Peggy 03-08-2009, 11:08 PM How odd.
If you'd like to pm admin access to your forum I'll look at this and see what's going on?
Peggy 03-08-2009, 11:28 PM no need - here it is. sorry!
Peggy 03-08-2009, 11:32 PM I've added it to the zip file. Thanks for catching that, but I'm sorry it gave you a problem :(
kaderith 03-08-2009, 11:41 PM No worries. :)
Thank you for your help in how to get the unnecessary links off the nav bar.. that was the biggest worry I had.
The style looks beautiful now. Its perfect!
Thank you again for all your help!

Peggy 03-08-2009, 11:50 PM You're very welcome. I'm glad you like it.
Don't forget to submit your site to our Website Directory! The link is in the navbar and the side column.
kaderith 03-11-2009, 06:57 PM Hi again Peggy,
I have a quick question.. I would like to add a few more links into the 'Quick Links' drop down from the nav bar, but I can't get them to show up. How do I add a link in there?
henlyn 05-11-2009, 09:17 AM Uh Oh, I made a huge boobie Peggy.
I have beed adding a link for FlashChat on my Navbar, it worked on all my themes, except Coffee time.
I did revert like you said for me to do on Tulip, but it hasn't done anything on coffee time.
The Nav bar works...( still no Flash chat on it.... it just looks dreadful).
Could you post me a copy of the breadcrumb template Pleeeeaaaasssseeeee.
Lynn
Peggy 05-11-2009, 10:54 AM The navbar for coffee is not located in the navbar template, it is in the header template. And it is not the typical links navbar, the links are graphics.
I can't do anything now, as I am at work. I will have to fix it when I get home tonight.
henlyn 05-11-2009, 11:12 AM I did see why I made the boobie.... afterwards, lol I read this thread.:o I only mailed you the template because it was too large to post here.;)
Thanks Peggy:D:D:D
Peggy 05-12-2009, 10:53 AM all fixed. :)
henlyn 05-12-2009, 11:20 PM Peggy, thank you so much for repairing the damage I caused.IN future, before I do anything else in templates...I'm going to save a copy. I know I should have made a backup first, but, that's me..... dumb. lol.
How much do I owe?
all_badz 06-16-2009, 02:08 PM nice one,
thx..
Peggy 06-28-2009, 10:04 PM thanks I'm glad you like it.
@ henlyn - don't worry about it. We've all been there. ;)
djmac 07-23-2009, 11:14 PM I get the following statement in Vb3.8.3 Reagrding "Coffee Time Footer" and "Lets Talk Footer" templates. Should I just leave it or modify it? If I have to mod. what do I do? Thank you for your hard work.
Best Regards
Don
"It may be necessary for you to revert the custom templates, or otherwise check that they fully support vBulletin 3.8.3. If you do not do this, some sections of vBulletin may not function! Peggy 07-23-2009, 11:34 PM You should have gotten the same message with the header and navbar templates as well.
Don't revert them, just save. They work fine with vB 3.8.3
djmac 07-24-2009, 09:33 PM Thanks Peggy. Although I only received messages about the header, but I its no big deal. I did leave them alone, I figured that was the best way. They work fantastic and look great. Thanks for the help and keep up the great work.

oldlock 08-29-2009, 12:57 AM Hi Peggy
Great style, any chance of making an Arcade button, or pointing me in the direction of a guide to adding such a link to one of the drop down menus ?
Thanks
Paul
