Help.....

I have DL'ed some styles, and they came with PSD documents to change the logo/headers. I am pretty clueless when it comes to saving psd documents. Any ideas? It looks as if they have them "sliced" I see blue lines. I changed my text, now I need to know how to save the section i want as the new header.

(I work with PSP, lol...)

SO you've already added your text to the header part?

Have you already installed the skin to your forum?

If so, look in the styles' StyleVars section, in Title Image info, and look at what they have the header named and how they have it saved, i.e. gif or jpg. Save your header image in the same format, same name and upload it

Thanks for the reply Peggy! Well, I understand what you're saying, but my problem is, the PSD document is in layers. and I'm confused as to what to merge, save, etc. to get my header image. Does that make any sense?

It does, but I have no idea! You may want to contact the people where you got the skin from and ask them.

If you know what it is that you want to see, just turn layers on and off until you see the image the way you want it, then save it as the header file format (gif I think for vB).
