Spammers

Have you tried vbstopforumspam for here yet? It works really good keeping those idiots out!.

We use quite a few plugins, but spam is unrelentless :)

I suggest you try it here, I have it running on 14 forums and it eliminates 99% of them getting through to the site to post.

Yeah we're actually using that one amongst some others aswell :)

It doesn't seem to be working. The site is being overrun with spam. :(

we're trying our best but it has reduced considerably if not as much as we would like.

There are a couple of very good mods at vB.com. The one I use is vB Stop Forum Spam (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=176481). Since installing it, I have had no problem whatsoever with spam on my forum.

I think I already have that one, although I updated some of the keywords we filter for last week and it's done the job, we've seen very little spam coming in for the last week :)
