Orange/Black

Made the same as Teal/Black, but with a bright orange.

Download the attached Zip file, and unzip the contents to your computer.
Upload the orangeblack folder into your forum/images directory, so that your path is images/orangeblack
Import the xml file by going to your ACP --> styles and templates --> download/upload styles --> browse --> select the xml file where you have it saved on your computer --> import
If you need your forum name added to the header, please request it here.
Enjoy!

NOTE: I have attached a zip file with some Halloween images - (header images, forum new/old/lock)just upload them to your orangeblack folder and overwrite the originals. After halloween, re-upload the original orangeblack icons again, overwriting the halloween images.

I have the same one in Teal and black, and plan to make a few more, same black, but different colors, like a rusty-brown/black, yellow/black, bright blue/black, perhaps a red/black etc.

i have two little questions:
- What Fonts do you used for the buttons?
- How can i move Avatar, Username to the left side? In your demo are the Infos left, but in the file are Username, Info, Avatar above the posts.

Hi there. I usually use either Tunga or Trebuchet for button text.

The profile info isn't on top in the file. It's on top when you installed it because your forum is set that way. In order to have your postbit (profile) information on the left like we have it here, do this:

Log in to your ACP
Go to vBulletin Options
on the right, select Style & Language Settings
scroll down to Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template
select Yes
Save.

FYI: images/orangeblack/buttons/comment.gif is missing.

It's not missing. Comment.gif is not one of the buttons that comes with vBulletin.
It's an extra that is used by GARS, I believe.

The image path in your ftp has to be images/orangeblack (not images/orangeblack/orangeblack)

what should i do to center the header , i don't want it to be far left.

Can you provide some help? I don't know how to center it, i played with the codes a little still didn't work.

THis would be very difficult to do. As you can see, the header is in 3 parts with the forum border color on each end. If you go center with the image, you're going to lose the left/right color borders. This was designed with a left-aligned header.

But if you still want to try, you can try this code. But I don't make any guarantees that it will work. I'm in the process of moving to a new residence, so I won't be around much to help, I'm sorry.

It is ok =] well i was thinking about this idea, how about making the header larger, width wise? Do you know what i need to increase to be able to use a wider banner.

Hey Peggy sorry to bother you :confused: but at least do you know how can i use a bigger banner then the current one which is width 516 , my banner is 700 and it doesn't show all in my forum, it shows until the 516, i tried to edit that in the header and it messed the banner more.

There is some re-coding that has to be done, and I would have to get in there and figure out what to do, which I just don't have time to do right now. It'll be at least a couple of days before I can.

Hi Eckerle, welcome to Themes by Design.

The xml is inside the zip file. You have to import this into your forum for the style to work. Follow the instructions that are in the first post of this thread, and you should have no problem.

However, this theme is is designed for 3.6.8, and will not work properly with 3.7.1
