You'll love it. I started my forums with phpBB, but saved enough to purchase my first vB a little over 2 years ago and have never been sorry.

There is SO much to customize with the vB, especially to optimize it for search engine spiders. You may want to check out another forum I'm a co-admin at - vBulletin FAQ (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum). LOTS of info and help there too.

yep, we just moved from InvisionFree.. and boy am I liking vBulletin SO much better!

Out of curiosity, did you look into purchasing IPB? From what little I am able to discern from the outside looking in, it appears the IPB package has a lot going for it. I like the fact they were bold enough to offer a fully integrated forum/gallery/blog suite, whereas Jelsoft is now just beginning to break the ice with their own blog.

Whether it is a reasonable alternative to vB or not remains to be seen, but they do look like they have a lot going for them.

I did look into IPB, but to get it with all that included was about $100 more!
