sitemap adding problem

I have problem in adding any sitemap in google webmaster tools.

It even shows error for robots.txt

I have made robots.txt file with contents
User-agent: *
Disallow:

But still it shows error Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

If you are using anything other than the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=144730), I recommend you switch. And if you visit that link, you will find all the support you could possibly ever need.

Trust me, this one will fly all by itself.

I agree with Mike. That's what we use here and it is really the best sitemap generator to use.

I make sitemaps from free sites like http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
