Hiya Peggy, i'm after a custom style. Can you base something around the red2black style obviously with unique buttons and such. What about vb upgrades, do your styles upgrade with it, i'm guessing it does as your templates seem the same.
Thanks

What is the red2black style?
Whenever there's a vB version upgrade, yes the style upgrades with it.
However, if it's a major upgrade, you may have to re-do some template edits.
I am busy for the next 2 weeks as you can see by my calendar, but if you can wait that long I may be able to help you, depending on exactly what you're after.

Ok - this begs the question... why don't you just use that skin, and get the header image customized, rather than spend $150 or more for a custom skin based on that one?
I mean, I can do a red and black skin - I have two of them in my free section here already. But you're asking for one, if I'm understanding you correctly, designed similar to that one. Well, it can't be too similar, because then we start walking the line dealing with copyright issues, know what I mean?

I do know what you mean peggy. As much as i love the red2black it is hard to work with as it is not based on standard vb templates. Everytime i install a hack or upgrade i have to manually edit the templates and in the case of hacks i have to find where the change has been done in vb default and then find the correct template in r2b and then edit it, it's just like pre vb3.5.x days lol. Plus i get to have custom buttons and header based on the forum interest. Does that make sense.

OOOOK I gotcha. Yeah I could tell it has been recoded and reorganized. That always makes vB version upgrades a real PITA.
So you're looking for a vB css-based style (that's what I do) in red, gray's, and black.
Correct?

Ok Peggy, i can wait. In the meantime i'll just practise typing using my elbows (you know what i mean) hahaha.
Thanks gal.
EDIT. One last thing, itake it that your styles work with all the popular browsers.

Hi leftie.
Yes, Peggy's styles will work with all browsers. Her styles are all CSS-based, so there's no tricky coding that might fool one browser or another.
