Well I am very short on cash at the moment...... I was wondering if somebody would generously like to buy me a forum and then every month I pay the person a amount of money until it is paid off. I really want a site/forum but I am short on money very short at the moment...... If anybody is interested please give me a shout and if this is not legal or anything Peggy anybody please kindly delete this thread and do whatever else you feel is necessary.

Why don't you get one of those free ones then, like phbb ? I don't understand why can't you come up with money? It's not that much.

Daniel, I responded to this in your introductory post.

You just need to save your money until you can afford to do what you want. That is how the rest of us have managed and it's just not that difficult. To quote my dear-departed mother, "Neither a borrower nor a lender be."

Do you have hosting yet? If so, then set up a MyBB forum or a phpBB forum. You can always use vB's ImpEx script to import into vB at a later date.

If you don't have hosting, then try to locate a solid host and see if you can pay on a monthly basis. You can get in for a minimal investment, until you're in a better financial position. Pay for a month's hosting and then use one of the free forum solutions.

If you're like a lot of us, spending a bit of time with phpBB will really make you appreciate vBulletin, when you can afford to make the switch.:yes:
