MomTwoBoys 09-30-2007, 03:05 PM I've uploaded the Fall style, however I cannot get any of the graphics/icons and things to show. I don't know why because I uploaded them to the server and have given the right path yet they're not changing.
What am I doing wrong? My forum looks like crap now. :(
Peggy 09-30-2007, 04:24 PM When you open the zip file, you will see a fall days folder and the xml file. Upload that falldays folder to your forums images folder.
Then go to your Main CSS and make sure that the images paths are correct. They should say images/falldays/name of folder/name of image
In Style vars make sure that your image paths say images/falldays/nameoffolder

Ok, the only 'Fall Days' folder I see is an actual folder with various other folders inside of it. I can't just clickon the 'Fall days' folder and then 'Upload'-I have to upload everything inside of it. How time consuming!

I got the Style vars part down, everything else is what is confusing as all hell. :D

lol, you're making this much harder than it really is.
When you open the zip file on your computer, there is a falldays folder and the xml file in it, correct?
Inside that falldays folder, do you see various folders such as attach, buttons, editor, etc? If you do, that's good. THAT is the falldays folder that you need to upload, in its entirety, to your images directory on your server, so that your images path is images/falldays

Ok this is why I'm confused. LOL I see everything that you're saying but to me it soundslike you're telling me that all i have to do is click on "fall days" and upload it. It doesn't work like that. I click on 'Fall Days' and the folder opens. I see various other folders. I then have to click on 'icons', for example, and then upload each thing under that folder individually.
How do I upload a folder with various things inside of it?
MomTwoBoys 09-30-2007, 06:14 PM Ok, wait wait wait, there are actually two Fall days folders. I open the .zip folder and not the other one with all the various folders inside then?
Peggy 09-30-2007, 06:18 PM Hun, I have the falldays zip here right in front of me. The fall days zip file, is a file, not a folder. When you open the zip file, I have a falldays folder, and a xml.
There is one folder and one xml inside the zip file.
MomTwoBoys 09-30-2007, 06:28 PM I don't know why it's not working for me. I did everything you said. All my paths are right and yet all I see are red x's where icons should be (the leafs next to the forum names to show if there are new posts within the forum, etc.). I don't know what to do. Is my path right: /public_html/images/falldays/icons ? I copied /images/falldays/icons into the 'Status Icons' folder (and did the same with the various paths to all the others).
MomTwoBoys 09-30-2007, 06:30 PM Ok well the path was supposed to be /images/falldays/statusicon so that problem is solved now.
Peggy 09-30-2007, 06:32 PM I was trying to figure out why you would place the icons folder into the statusicons folder. You don't copy anything into any other folder. Simply move the falldays folder into the images folder. That's it.
Peggy 09-30-2007, 06:35 PM If you do it exactly like I said to do it, your image path will be correct. It should be as follows:
images/falldays/attach
images/falldays/buttons
images/falldays/editor
and so on.
MomTwoBoys 09-30-2007, 07:03 PM Ok, done! :D I still had to do it manually for whatever reason but I don't care, it's up and it works. LOL
Thank you for putting up with me.
