Blue christmas request

hello all

since i suck at this i'm gonna ask your help on something. as title states it's about blue christmas skin. when i apply it to my forum i'm not satisfied with look of the header.

i'd like to strech header to full page width so it looks nicer.

also i'd be obliged if someone explains how do i add snowflakes. i mean i have read that .doc file but when i do as is stated there i don't see any changes.

If you put the js file in your forum root, and added the code to the appropriate template, it should work just fine.

I looked at your forum and you didn't have the background uploaded. When you upload it, the header will look right.

appropriate template would be header right? do i just add the code? is there some particular place i should add it to there or it don't matter?

Ok I hadn't upgraded the Christmas themes yet, I didn't know people would be wanting them so early!
I have attached the upgraded theme to this post. All you have to do is re-import the xml file, and upload the background image, which is in the misc folder, to the cmas/misc folder on your server.

you say it's in misc folder but when i dl cmas.zip there aren't any folders in it...:confused:
i uploaded bg and bg2 but nothing happens

There must have been a folder in the zip if you found the background, lol, cuz it's in the folder. I really have no idea why you're having such a hard time with this.

If you uploaded bg2, it should work.

Go into the Main CSS section for this theme in your Admin CP, and make sure that this code
#869BBF url(images/cmas/misc/bg2.jpg) is in the box in the Body section, in the Background square.

If it is there, then you didn't upload the bg2 image to the right place. It has to go in the cmas/misc folder on your server.

ok now it's working...you're my new best friend peggy :D

and to reply about my request being so early...i like to prepare things in advance so when it comes to it i just tick new theme in admin cp :cool:

i have one more question though...you said you checked forum. did you notice chatbox? when i change style to blue christmas it's not showing. any chance for it to show in your style?

Did you have to make a manual template edit to FORUMHOME to to display your chatbox? If so, you will need to make that same edit to the Blue Christmas FORUMHOME template.
