download the zip file to your computer.
upload the bowling folder into your forum/images directory, so that your path is images/bowling
Import the xml by going to your ACP --> styles and templates --> download/upload styles --> browse -->select the xml file where you have it save on your computer --> importWAA LAA! :yay:

A blank header is included in the zip file, as well as a blank button.

Downloaded and installed this style tonight and everything went okay but when I looked at it the category strips were not right, banner was missing (just showing a text link) and a bunch of other little things.

Took a look at the image paths and all are set for a different website - for example Title Image:

These are easy enough to change to my url and stuff started to show back up.

Category strips were the same - #869BBF url(http://www.exqxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.net/testforum/images/bowling/gradient/gradient_tcat.gif) repeat-x top left,

I set my url there but for some strange reason the red category strip will not show right, just see that mauve purplely color.

Edit - got them showing, had url path wrong.

Is there anywhere else where the url will have to be changed over so everything works and shows right? I just deleted the style as was playing with it at work and will install it again later today.

hmmmm ok that is really strange! I've had numerous installs.. both here and at vb.org, and haven't heard about this.

I'll download the xml file and attach it to the original release post. That should solve the problem.

I would like to ask two questions mainly about the text color.

1 - Where can I find to edit the white text in the custum icon box that shows at the bottom the page with the 3 bowling balls? Would like to make the text black.

2 - Dont know what it is called, after logging in you get the page that says thanks for logging in and I thinkit also says click if you want to be directed or something along thise lines - Where do you edit the text for this/ Same thing as the first question the text is white and hard to see and would like to change it to black.

Hi Kyle.

#1 - go into the the acp > style manager > bowling > edit templates > find the forum home template, and look for <!-- icons and login code --> .

In the beginning of the code, you'll need to add a font color code. something like font color="#000000" . I'm not exactly sure where in that code to place it, so you'll have to play around with it.


#2 - I really don't have a clue :(

the xml said this was 3.6.0 beta 4.

I simply changed the 3 reference to force to work with 3.6.4. What is the differences?

I'm not sure. There were a few template changes between 3.6 beta 4.

Where does one change the color of text that is in the forum info box and the same with the contact box? Trying to change the white as it is not visible.

You can't change the text color just in those two areas. It is all tied to the forum, and in order to change that text color, you have to change the color all over the forum.

I believe that text color is controlled in the alt 1 and alt 2 areas of the Main CSS.

I just installed this one, I know my users will love it. :D

HI, new to the forum and just installed VBulletin for the first time, and really want this theme for my forum, but im running version 3.6.9 and it wont allow me to use it, any ideas ?

You can use this theme. When you import the xml file in your admin control panel, check the box where it says Ignore Style Version.
