How can i link to another part in the same post ?

Hi !

I've got some threads on my forum for newbies, some tutorials.
And they are pretty long, with an index at the beginning.

Now i wanted to know how i can link from a word in a post to some other place in the same post ?

I'm known with HTML, so i thought about
<a href='controls'>Controls</a>And at the wanted link
<a name='#controls'></a>But i think i got some mistakes in this code above...
And i don't know if i should use ' or " in this ?
Can someone help me out ?

I have no earthly idea Tij. I know that you can link to a a single post in a long thread. Other than that, I don't know.
