Upgraded Themes

All of the themes that have been upgraded to 3.7 Beta 5 are now stickied in the free themes forum. Both 3.6.8 and 3.7 Beta 5 are offered in the zip file on these themes.

If it's not stickied, it still runs correctly only on 3.6.8, and has not been upgraded to 3.7 yet. I will get to those eventually, but time is a bit scarse lately.

So Peggy, some of your styles will never be upgraded to 3.7 because of conflicting code, right? Can you let me know if Sports and Blue Christmas will be upgraded or if either won't be? Besides Spring and Tulip I also usually use those and my users are asking if they'll be back. I'm not in a hurry, I'll wait for you to upgrade them, but if you aren't going to I'd like to at least know. :)

If a skin is for 3.6, can one still try installing it? I know there are some additional graphics but besides those what are the things one should look for to see if a 3.6 skin is working properly in 3.7? Thanks. :flowers:

oh goodness, that is an old post, lol.

I'll be working again on upgrading themes to 3.7.2 (announced yesterday that 3.7.2 will be released near end of June). I stopped when they started releasing the patches. Anyway I'll resume upgrading them in a couple of weeks. I'm working on custom themes now.

Thanks. But do you know if a 3.6 skin can work at all in 3.7? There were a few skins (not yours) that I'd like to use again that will probably never be upgraded to 3.7 by their authors, just want to know if there's any chance I can still use them.

My first instinct is to say no. The reason being is that it's not only the absence of the additional images that is at issue. There are also differences in the templates, such as the addition of the security tokens, notices, etc, that will not be included in the 3.6 styles.
