403 Forbidden

Hey y'all, help me out here please?

A few people at vb.org who have tried to view the demo link for the new 3.7 Daisy theme have reported getting a 403 Forbidden page.

What exactly is this, and what can I do about it?

A 403 is just saying they are not allowed to view the page. Try setting permissions to 644 on the files and 755 on directories in your cp or ftp. If you still have issues let me know and I'll try to help. and make sure you have index.html or index.php or whatever

It comes when site page is not found by admin.if you locked the page that's why this error is coming.

It comes anytime the page is not found, whether they're an admin or not. None of my pages are locked.

ahha there were a few image folders that were missing their index.html. That's odd.
Anyway, I gave them one, and hope that solves the problem.

what are cp and ftp and how would you change the permissions? i don't understand
