A cute set of ranks I made for a friend last Christmas, enjoy!

The zip file includes a link to the font, and a blank button.

How cute! Is there any way that you could change the blank image to png format? I don't like working with blank gif's cuz it's difficult using drop shadows and bevels.

I would LOVE to do a Christmas theme based on these.

(I use still use gif's alot because of the transparency issues in IE with .png's. Although I have found myself using more and more of them on my websites -- it is becoming a very popular file format.)

It is a very popular format. There is a fix for IE6 for png's, and IE7 has already dealt with it. I wouldn't think that anyone would be using anything lower than IE6.

My husband uses IE6, and some png's appear to have a 'semi-transparent' background on his screen. They look so bad.

He may not have installed the png "fix" put out by Microsoft? Do a google search for it.

Yeah, he has his updates turned off. But that's why I still try to use gif's -- because I am sure he isn't the only one out there who uses an 'outdated' browser.

Hey gif's are great too! Especially when designing for vB you have to use mostly gifs, such as with buttons, etc, since they still use them. But I do use png when I can get away with it :)
