Teal Christian

The first of many Christian themes.

Click on the "Install" button on the right of this post, then download the zip file to your computer and extract it (I put it on my desktop, it's easier to remember where I put it!).
Open your ftp client, go to your forum/images directory, and create a styles folder.
Next, upload the tealchrist folder into that styles folder, so that your image path is images/styles/tealchrist/buttons, for example.
After you've uploaded the folder, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
Click on the Browse button, locate the tealchrist-style.xml file, double-click it, so it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.


There's a blank images folder in the zip file. You'll find the blank header, and buttons for editing.

I don't include images for GARS. My themes include only the default vB buttons.

I just love this one and have gotten so many compliments and thanks from my members on it too!

I do have one question about it though. At the very bottom of the page, just to the left of the "contact us" link, there seems to be a missing grapic, as it shows up as a white square with a red x in it. Could you tell me what I need to do to fix that?

oooops that's the graphic link back to this site. I've started doing that rather than a text link. It looks nicer. I'll upload that in a jiffy, as well as new thread markers for the other style.

hi peggy, i've installed this and it looks wonderful! :) looking forward to new Christian styles as well :) the only thing that isn't working is the Themes by Design graphic which i couldn't find anywhere. I've created a text link for now so that at least people can find you and see who has done all the hard work!

:( i realised another problem - thankfully i guess lol; any new themes strip our navigation bar which is at the top and bottom and has lots of items on it

Ariella, all of the new items have to be added to the new style's navbar.

Hi Peggy, long time no see, LOL I'm still just loving all your designs but of course my favorite is the one you made me and this one. I sure hope you'll be doing some more Christian designs as I don't think there's anyone else that does them!

Yeah Christian designs are great. Not sure if I have a free one on the horizon though :) Some things just come via inspiration.

I'll have to pray for you to be inspired by Him then! Have you ever used Incredimail or gotten involved in the user created designs? The reason I ask is because that's what I thought of when you said things came by inspiration lol. Some of the dsigns on the letters are absolutely amazing. You can get addicted to just collecting them... in fact, I did LOL Finally had to force myself to stop though as I no longer had time for it. But for anyone who loves graphics, incredimail is a must. Not the letters that come with it, but the ones created by the real artists who have yahoo groups to send out their designs in.
