Sunrise - the beginning of a brand new day!

I love to watch the sunrise of each day, even tho I don't always get to. To me, it means a new day, yesterday's gone, a chance to start over.

"Sunrise" features:

separated/spaced forum categories
XHTML 1.0 Transitional (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tbdstyles.com%2Findex.p hp%3Fstyleid%3D11&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0)
90% original images
Includes a "thanks" button for the Post Thank You modification
a color-coordinated smiley set, replacing the default smilies ** (see below)

PREVIEW

Click on the "Install" button on the right of this post, then download the zip file to your computer and extract it (I put it on my desktop, it's easier to remember where I put it. I do suggest moving the zip after installation to a folder on your computer so you have it as a back-up - just in case ;) ).
Open your ftp client to your server. Go to your forum's images folder, open it, and create a styles folder.
Next, upload the sunrise folder via FTP to the styles folder, so that your image path is images/styles/sunrise/buttons, for example.
If you do use the enclosed color-coordinated smilies, simply upload the smilies folder via ftp, and overwrite your existing smailies. The image names are the same. * see below
After you've uploaded the images, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
Click on the Browse button, locate the xml file for sunrise, and double-click it so that it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.

There are blank buttons and a logo in the Blanks folder, for easy editing.
No psd's are available.

If you have any questions, please post your question here, do not PM me. You may be helping someone else as well. ;)

Enjoy the Sunrise! :D

* if you use more than one style on your forum, you may not want to upload these smilies unless they also match your other themes. All of your styles use just one set of smilies, unfortunately.

** Thanks go to GreenSmilies.com (http://www.greensmilies.com/), and to the author/designer of this set of smilies for granting me permission to package them with this style!

Thanks for the acknowledgement and link. btw: Is there a way to create Smiley-Packs for vB? Like phpBB which use pak-files to import new smileys. If so, I would create a package for vB too.

No they don't have pak-files. I wish they did.

Here is a zip of the standard smileys that vB packages with their download. These are the ones I replaced with yours.

You could contact the lead developer at vBulletin.com about replacing them. His name is Kier. You'll have to register to PM him tho. www.vbulletin.com (http://www.vbulletin.com)

I personally think the colors in this theme are gorgeous. Mind if I ask what the font on the head is?

Great job.

Hi, Love the theme and thank you, but we are having a problem. Not sure what the issue could be. It was working until we changed the name of a forum. But our forums have no style. You can see here in a screenshot.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Thanks a bunch

Your forums aren't set up correctly.

There has to be a Category, then there has to be forums within the category. Further, make sure that for each forum within the category, where it says parent forum, select the category name in the drop down menu, and save.

Did you re-set the parent forum from none to the category name?

Most of our problems are user errors, lol.
