are going out to the hundreds of thousands of people who are being affected and/or displaced by Hurricane Ike.
I've been watching the Weather Channel most of the day, and have seen that a few coastal towns are already flooded out, and the hurricane (eye) isn't even expected to make landfall until late tonight. This is a very large (in circumference) hurricane, with tropical storm force winds extending out over 200 miles from the center, and hurricane force winds extending out over 125 miles from the center (last time I looked).
If any of our members here are in the affected areas, let us know you're ok when you are able to.
