Hi y'all! Designing websites has been a hobby of mine for many years. Then about 4 yrs ago, I purchased my first vBulletin forum. Not knowing anything of designing for vBulletin, I of course, installed other designers' skins. Being on a shared host and dial-up internet connection, I found them irritatingly slow-loading. So I thought I'd give designing my vB a try, wouldn't you know, I loved it! So I thought... well, why not!

With the encouragement of a couple of friends, and another designer friend (miner), I started designing for vBulletin forums under the site name of vBImpressions 3 yrs ago, but changed it to Themes by Design less than a year later. My intent was then, and still is now, to design forum styles that are quick-loading, easy to upgrade, and when a customized theme is required, easy on the pocketbook.

Just recently, Chris and I officially "partnered up", to bring you an even greater design experience, in addition to his mods, which are released here as well. GOOD decision, dontcha think?!!

On a more personal note, I'm a single, BBW, mom of two, and just this past year, a grandma. I have many, and varied, interests and hobbies. I'm stubborn, opinionated, loyal, blunt, honest, affectionate, giving - or as some would say - quite multi-faceted. ;)

I've worked in alot of different areas in the public spectrum, from store sales to office receptionist to mortgage loan processor. For the past 3 years, I've been employed as a non-medical caregiver with a company called Comfort Keepers. This is a very rewarding area to work in, and I would recommend working as a caregiver, to just about anyone.
