Some questions from a noob....

Hi!

(I have vBulletin 3.6.8 installed)
And now i've got some questions:

1 - Is it possible (with my version) to change my layout, that every category on my forum has it's own icons, instead of the standard forum_new, forum_old and forum_closed. I just watched someting similar on this site, and wondered if how it's done ?
2 - When a user visits my forum, and tries to post a link (in FireFox), he always has to enter the text for the link before the URL itself. Is this a browser relative problem/option, or changable in vB-panel ??
3 - Does anyone, maybe anyone, know a Dutch site to buy a vBulletin license, cause my boss wants one for the company ???
4 - On the net you find a lot of hacks/plugins, but not all from the vBulletin.org website. Is there any way to make sure these are not full with faults/errors ????
5 - How can i use images instead of text for the User Control Panel ?????
6 - What are some good custom BB-codes ??????

Hi Tij!

#1 - There is a hack at vBulletin.org that does this. I don't know the name of it, so you'll have to search there.

#2 - If the post-er is using the link button to post their link, you have to type the text first, then highlight it, and click on the link button to add the address. This is the case whether using Firefox or IE or any other browser. It's just the way vB works.

#3 - I don't know all of the languages that vBulletin is produced in. That, you will have to ask about at vBulletin.com

#4 - vBulletin does not support any modification/hacks, etc except those that are released on vBulletin.org. And even there, you must download and install them at your own risk, they are not ever guaranteed. However, I will say that the staff at vB.org WILL pull a hack from release if it is found to have a serious bug or security exploit, which was the case with the vBPlaza/vBux hack, for example.

#5 - You will have to ask about your #5 and 6 at vBulletin.org.

Wait till you install 3.7 and it will be easy - just testing it now see screenshot below of post indicators
